Food Hygiene
The need for effective food safety management is becoming increasingly recognised and regulated for. New European food legislation came into force from the 1st January 2006 which compels all establishments that provide catering to have in place a fully documented HACCP based system ( hazard analysis and critical control points) St Andrews catering is commited to meeting and exceeding the new requirements. The principal of St Andrews catering is a qualified trainer with over 13 years experience training all levels of catering staff and is currently involved in developing training materials for the forthcoming regulations.

St Andrews catering provides training and consultancy in Hazard analysis, food hygiene, risk assessment , menu costing and planning and the Food standards agency's new Cooksafe scheme .

We apply this knowledge rigorously in our own business to ensure your safety. This enables us to manage food safely in our own working restaurant kitchen or indeed at any outside location or venue.

St Andrews Catering is fully insured for both public and private events.
